What started as a harmless obsession (okay, full-blown addiction) with cacti turned into something way bigger than I ever imagined. CCL Cacti began as a simple Marketplace side hustle—first with snake plants, then with cacti, which was the real game-changer.
I realised people LOVED how unique cacti were, but most had no idea how easy they are to care for. The demand was there, and within a year, I quit my full-time job to go all-in on this spiky adventure. I’ve never looked back, and I thank my lucky stars every day for this incredible cactus-loving community that has grown alongside me.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Luke for almost two years now, starting with the gardens at Aspley Mazda. Affectionately known as “the Cactus Girl,” our role has been to complement the regular garden care with a specialist focus — maintaining the cacti and surrounding gardens with a sharp eye for detail and recommending what will thrive in each space.
Thanks to the results achieved there, we were then entrusted to care for his holiday home as well. From ongoing maintenance to thoughtful design touches, it’s been a joy to see both properties flourish and to build a wonderful friendship along the way.
